BIHAR ECONOMIC SURVEY- CONCEPT OF E- GOVERNANCE:

NOTE: THE SOURCE OF DISCUSSION IS BASED ON BIHAR ECONOMIC SURVEY AND BUDGET.

Tommorow's future lies in the correct implementation of science and technology in the various fields, with help of these tools the govt. has to take effective measures for performance of E- Governance.

E-governance provides close interaction between the govt. and the citizen. In order to promote e-governance in a hostalic manner, various policy initiatives and projects have been under taken by the  state govt. to deliver the good governance and development with justice.
State govt. has taken several measures through CCTNS, cyber security, e- prison, e- court etc. to maintain the law and administration in the state. The better delivering through DBT helps to build trust between public and govt. it improves the public services, citizen's engagements , transparency and  accountability of the authorities.
E- governance developement index are- telecommunication and infrastructure index, human capital index, online service index. state govt. has decided for two core priorities- good governance and development with justice. ICT facilitates e- governance programme by speed up govt. process, taking decision expeditiously and judicialy, increasing transparency and enforcing accountability.
It escalates the reach of the govt. geographically and demographically.
Function of govt. channelled through e- governance-

• maintenance of law and administration.

• emergency services.
• promotion of economic developments.

Schemes- wi-fi project, sahaj takniki  yojana, bharat net,mobile service delivery gateway, crime and criminal tracking, emergency response support system, E- kamaan, bihar SPARROW, e- munucipalties bihar, e- suvidha portal, PAHAL- eliminate duplicate/ bogus connection of LPG.
